How To Get the Perfect Beach Waves
• Ok, so if you already have that wavy hair, but its either too frizzy or just flat, try adding in some sea salt spray. Sea salt spray is very important, it adds texture and gives that messy beach wave. It will look as if you were just at the beach getting that sea mist, when in reality all you did was add a couple of sprays.
• But if don't have any sea salt spray? No need to worry, here is one that you cam make at home:
In a clean squirt bottle add
1 cup of hot water, 1 Tablespoon of Salt, and 2 Tablespoons of sugar
........... sounds weird right? Put all three ingredients into the squirt bottle and shake well, spritz hair with it. I usually do it on dry hair, but it works on slightly damp too. Remember to start with only a few spritz is easier to add and build up the product, then to subtract product from hair. Add as needed. It will feel a bit sticky at first, but scrunch the hair a bit and as it dries it will feel better.
• If you want a bit more defined weaves, use a 1 in barrel and slightly curl some pieces in all directions.
• Now if you have very straight or fine hair, what you can try is using a very small barrel / curling iron (3\4 in) or (1\2 in) and curling your hair very tight at night sleep on it loose, by the morning the curls should have loosened up, at only a little bit of hair spray (too much may bring the waves down), or you can add a bit of texturizing spray.
I hope this tips help you achieve those gorgeous beach waves: D
